Display
the Qwik Forecast Button on your web site. Select from the list of 53,000 US locations or 10,000 International locations and paste the code on your site.
You do have to register and choose your location. You are given the script to paste on your website instantly.
There are lots
of places that you can make a free poll on the internet, but
most are boring and lame. At Xat.com you can create a cool poll
fast. Different size and background options and you can enter up
to 12 different answers. Your visitors can only vote once and
the results can be viewed after voting. They also have a free
chat, quiz and slideshow (top tab).
Put videos on your website.
This may be a simple one, but I get a lot of questions
on how to put videos on a website. The easiest way is
from YouTube.
Just play the video you want to use, then look for the
"Embed" code. Copy everything in the box and
paste it in your text editor. You may resize the viewing
size by changing the "Height" and
"Width" in the code. (you must change both in
two locations). Example code below.
The tagboard to
the right is one of the coolest free interactive webpage add-ons
I have ever seen. Talk to your visitors in real time
or let them talk to each other. It is also known as a
chatbox, or a shoutbox.
Interactive
stuff on your website keeps your website interesting and
different.
This cool web

symbol and get
free information. Also available is a commodity button and

This a great
add-on for those who need an interactive map for their website.
You can add a road map, a satellite map or a hybrid combination
of both maps. You can control the size and location
(address) of the map. Try it out..
Your visitors
can drag the map to navigate and zoom in and out. You have
to agree to the terms and conditions to generate a
"key". Sign up HERE
The key will only work on
the website you generate the key for, but you can generate as
many keys as you need. The map will work on any page
within your website. Google will generate you a default
script that creates an entire web page. I had trouble
trying to put the map script in a table cell, so I created the
entire page and used Iframes to put the
map in the cell.
To change the location of
the map, you will need to enter the address HERE
and change the latitude and longitude
in your script. The zoom factor is the "6" at
the end of the line near the bottom the default
script. More
Map Alterations.
edit this
line in script >>>> map.setCenter(new GLatLng(-94.413405,
39.092961), 6);
Google Map 2
There is an
easier to configure Google map that you can show your visitors a
specific location. You just choose the size and type of map you

automatically generated. You can even label the Google stickpin
marker.

Free Yahoo Search Box
Yahoo has come
out with a free search box you can put on your website. You can
choose from 4 different styles including this search box that
includes a "Site Search", which helps your visitors
find content within your website. The Site Search option
requires you to replace "YOUR SITE DOMAIN" in the
script with your website. Use only the domain name.
Do not include the www or http://.
